It is a pleasure to announce a new tour by the singer-songwriter Lleuwen all over Wales. The tour is a part of a project in partnership with PYST, Mentrau Iaith Cymru and the Arts Council of Wales' Night Out scheme; a project which has already seen successful tours by HMS Morris, The Gentle Good and Gwilym Bowen Rhys Trio.
Lleuwen Steffan is a singer, songwriter and musician from Rhiwlas in Gwynedd, now based in Brittany. A recipient of the Welsh Folk Award for Best Original Song and the France 3 Priziou Award for Best Album, she stands out as a distinctive and compelling voice in contemporary folk.
A fluent speaker of Welsh, Breton, French and English, Lleuwen has been celebrated by critics for her “archetypally Welsh voice — at once heavenly and earthy.”
The evening will also include a support from Erin Lancaster, all set within the warm and welcoming surroundings of 96 Degrees in Cowbridge, with a selection of alcoholic drinks and excellent coffee available throughout.
